Fruitnet Forum South-East Europe opened on 21 November, allowing the 15 leading Serbian fruit growers, united as Serbia Does Fruit, to gain much valuable information about global fresh produce trends and showcase their products. The B2B events that followed the Forum’s official events were also a great opportunity for Serbian producers to build valuable ties with international buyers. Serbian growers came away from the event with highly positive impressions, as did the foreign buyers, who were pleasantly surprised to learn Serbian apple and berry fruit production, storage, and packaging standards were on a par with those of leading European countries.
