Founded in 2008, Vija Product specialises in the production, marketing, storage, and distribution of fruits and vegetables. In 2015, the company started developing its modern apple plantations, with a target of 250 hectares over the next 3 to 5 years. In 2018, the company planted 80 hectares of apple orchards, with full-scale production expected to begin in2020. Apple varieties include Gala, Fuji, Golden and Red Delicious, Granny Smith, Jonagold, Jonaprince, Idared, and Mutsu. Since 2017, Vija Product has also been growing strawberries on a 10-hectare plantation, with an additional 10 hectares planned in 2020.

The company’s modern ULO cold storage facility, with a capacity of 5,000 tonnes, uses state-of-the-art quality control technology and is equipped with a sorting and packaging machine (100 tonnes/day) that enables extended delivery periods, from August to June of the following year. The cold storage facility is HACCP and ISO 9001 certified.
